Vertigo (16” x 20”), February 2026. This piece was originally inspired by the show Bridgerton, and over time it’s taken on extra significance to me. It represents my lust for life, the dizzying sensation of fullness, and an uncontrollable and wild urge to run ahead into the future. It’s a painting I could only make emerging from an old pattern of thinking that had been entrapping me. The layers – independence, fragile tenderness, uncertainty – clash into each other with gusto.
